Here you will find:
- pillow covers for the nursery, kids’ room, or family room,
- tote bags for your child’s books or for all your own papers, gizmos and gadgets,
- plus more to come, including aprons, oven gloves, and textiles for your dinner table.
Don’t be fooled by first impressions. These are no ordinary home accessories.
Born to Be Zen is not about living like a Buddhist monk. If that’s your thing, more power to ya! It’s about sprinkling your home with visual reminders to embrace the beauty you were born to express.
Would you like a fun way to help your children strengthen their free-to-be-me muscles? Want to strengthen your own and set a positive example?
I have designed these home textiles
- not ONLY to add splashes of style to your kids’ room, home, or nursery,
- not ONLY to help you maintain your rock star status as a great gift giver,
- not ONLY to put a smile on your face and one in your heart,
- but also to serve as decorative empowerment tools.
Your home CAN be a safe haven for self expression, a place where personal inhibition runs for the hills, a place where children are free to let themselves shine in whatever way comes most naturally. No surprise here, I happen to strongly encourage it!
Case in point, my Dare to Be You series, including Seahorse Moxie above, celebrates the courage required to stand apart from the crowd and embrace your own uniqueness.
{Note: Flower Moxie can become a complete set! Its wall art complement, Petal Power, is a 3-dimensional papercut design that’s equally meaningful. Perfect for your girl’s room. Makes a great garden theme gift, even better than sending flowers! To learn more visit “Lacuna Décor.”}
Pillow cover or pillow? Why pillow covers are better:
- You can easily take them off to wash them.
- You can quickly switch them out whenever the season changes (or your design mood changes…like mine… often).
- They are easy to store.
- You can stuff them as full and fluffy as you’d like! Find pillow inserts online or at your local fabric store. Better yet, use that secret stash of pillows hidden in your closet. (Okay, so I have a secret stash, too. Shhhhh!)
- Inner Pieces Gallery pillow covers are made from Belgium cotton. Translation: you have my blessing to brag, a little.

Looking for the perfect teacher gift? This tote bag, The Elephants of Style, is part of my Book Parody series. It’s also a fun way to bring self expression to the grocery store!

About the company Envelop
(“en-VELL-up” – to wrap something up in a covering)
I highly value products made in the USA. In this case, I chose to work with Envelop, a Belgium company, because of their eco friendly choices as well as their quality production. Envelop uses non-toxic water based inks. They choose environmentally responsible practices we can all be proud to support.
If you are unfamiliar with purchasing in Euros I assure you it is a simple process. Delivery to the U.S. may take some extra time, but the quality is well worth the wait. Envelop even adds their own special touch by including your name on every product’s fabric tag, if you so desire. Talk about going the distance!
Are you ready to express yourself?
Let the beauty at home nurture your beauty within!
